Abrahan Laralara opened the shop in Elgin in 2013. Thirteen years later, the same metal-fab discipline his father taught him runs the floor.
OUR STORY
Two generations on the floor.
Abrahan’s father Juan started his career in metal fabrication at a steel mill in Mexico, and Abrahan apprenticed beside him as a kid — learning to cut, form, and weld before he learned to drive. After his family moved to Illinois, Abrahan went to trade school for welding fundamentals. In 2013, he opened his own shop in Elgin and started taking work in.
Founded in 2013, the shop served the region for over a decade as a family-run operation before re-launching as Elite Metal Welding Solutions in 2026. Same address. Same phone. Same father-and-son discipline: take the job in writing, build it to spec, deliver when we said, stand behind the weld.

THE CREW
Five people. Elgin floor.
Abrahan runs the shop and pulls onto big custom-fab jobs personally. The crew handles trailer repairs, plasma cutting, structural work, and tank fab on a rotating board. We answer the phone ourselves.
